ICT MANAGER
Overall Purpose of the Job
The ICT manager is responsible for managing information technology, ICT systems and policies to achieve Sacco goals.  He/She will manage all ICT infrastructure implementation, systems security, development and implementation of ICT strategies, policies, data security and disaster recovery.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Manage all operations of the ICT Department and ensure timely provision of ICT services to all functions of the Society facilitate implementation and use of ICT in the organization
  2. Incharge of the development and implementation of the ICT strategies, promote ICT Innovation and enterprise
  3. Establish optimal systems, best technology and make requisite recommendations to promote online services, ICT literacy and capacity
  4. Ensure compliance with ICT regulations and advise management on optimization of ICT resources in the organisation.
  5. Ensure business continuity and effective disaster management and recovery planning
  6. Establish, develop and maintain secure ICT infrastructure and systems
  7. Oversee purchase, installation, configuration and maintenance of application software, operating and communication systems for the organisation
  8. Managing relationships with partners for the provision of ICT technical support and services
  9. Supervise the design, development and implementation of critical ICT projects
  10. Prepare and present ICT Reports to the management
  11. Analyzing ICT policies, processes, procedures and ensuring compliance
  12. Supervise & review performance of ICT officers work and other administrative matters in the department
  13. Any other lawful duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Minimum academic and professional qualifications required

  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or ICT related fields.
  • Professional certification in ICT fields (CISM, CISA or similar certification)
  • A member of an ICT professional body is an added advantage
  • A Masters degree in ICT will be an added advantage
  • A minimum of five (5) years working experience in a similar role
  • Successful candidates will be required to meet the requirements of Chapter 6 of the constitution of Kenya by obtaining the required documentation.

HUMAN RESOURCE & ADMIN OFFICER
Overall purpose of the job
Leading and directing all human resource roles, activities and providing guidance in overall administrative policies and strategies in order to support smooth running of the Sacco’s operations.

Key duties and Responsibilities

  1. Assist management to identify optimal staffing needs in line with the strategic plan
  2. Co-ordinate recruitments including, interviews, tests, reference checks, plan and conduct induction and on-boarding of new employees
  3. Prepare and administer all HR policies, and procedures, and ensure they are updated.
  4. Maintenance and update of staff records
  5. Payroll management
  6. Advise management on staff motivation and retention measures
  7. Co-ordinate performance appraisal/management and training needs assessment on annual basis
  8. Assist line managers on disciplinary and grievance matters in line with the policies
  9. Advice on HR regulations and ensure compliance
  10. Management of training in line with the training needs assessment, approved programs
  11. Management of employee welfare and benefits
  12. Procurement/supplies management as guided by the management
  13. Plan, coordinate all logistics and requirements for the staff events
  14. Facilitate proper records management and safe custody
  15. Any other lawful duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Minimum academic and professional qualifications required

  • A bachelor’s degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources Management,
  • A member of Institute of HR Management (IHRM) is an added advantage
  • A minimum of three(3) years relevant experience of which at least 2 years should have been in a similar role.
  • Successful candidates will be required to meet the requirements of Chapter 6 of the constitution of Kenya by obtaining the required documentation.
