EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
Overall Purpose of the Job
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the job holder will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities are:

  1. Ensuring the communication, planning schedules, appointments, meetings, reports and associated tasks are well organized in the Chief Executive Office.
  2. Organizing management and board meetings
  3. Managing and prioritizing workflows to ensure that meeting reports, minutes, correspondence and matters for attention are dealt with in a professional and timely manner.
  4. General administrative support the Chief Executive Office in the controlling of daily activity, diary schedules and set up meetings as requested
  5. Develop and maintain a contact database for clients, vendors, key stakeholders, regulators, etc. and ensure that this is updated on a regular basis.
  6. Ensure all documents from the Chief Executive Office are professionally styled and presented in accordance with corporate standards.
  7. Draft all Society communications on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer and Management.
  8. Take care of parking arrangements and access control for external visitors.
  9. Ensure that all physical and electronic records including Sacco documents are safely kept and a record of the same always retained.
  10. Screening telephone calls, enquiries and requests for the CEO’s office.

Minimum academic and professional qualifications required

  • At least a bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, of business-related field
  • A member of a relevant professional body is an added advantage
  • Proven track record in successfully of working with the office of the Chief Executive Officer.
  • Successful candidates will be required to meet the requirements of Chapter 6 of the constitution of Kenya by obtaining the necessary documentation.

LOAN PROCESSING ASSISTANT
Overall Purpose of the Job
To ensure Loans are processed within the stipulated time and  communication done to members on time.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities are:

  1. Attend to members queries on loan enquiries,
  2. Accurate and timely appraising and processing of all loans by observing the set policies, procedures, and service charter,
  3. Review and validating data/information on all loan application forms before appraisal and forwarding for approval,
  4. Reviewing the loan processing procedures policies and systems and recommend improvements,
  5. Delinquency management through effective collateral evaluation and perfection,
  6. Make constant communication and follow up with both the guarantors and borrowers on the loan processing status and pending matters for actioning within the stipulated timeframes,
  7. Corresponding with members regarding their loan applications by advising members on causes of deferral / rejection of the applications,
  8. Custody and safe keeping of documents during loan processing,
  9. Ensure confidentiality of member information on loan processing in line with the code of conduct,
  10. Ensure all long outstanding loan processing issues are escalated to the supervisor,
  11. Marketing and selling of society products and services
  12. Any other lawful duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Minimum academic and professional qualifications required.

  • At least a bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, of business-related field
  • A professional accounting qualification ie CPA K/ACCA/ACA/CFA or Credit administration
  • A member of a relevant professional body is an added advantage
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience and in a in a similar position
  • Successful candidates will be required to meet the requirements of Chapter 6 of the constitution of Kenya by obtaining the necessary documentation.
