We are a regulated, well-established Deposit Taking (DT) Savings and Credit Co-operative Society for all Professionals with membership spread globally. We are seeking to recruit a highly qualified result-oriented individual for the position of Sales representatives.
1. JOB TITLE & REPORTING |
TITLE: SALES REPRESENTATIVE REPORTING: TO THE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER |
2. JOB PURPOSE |
To recruit members and promote products/services by presenting clear, compelling arguments that highlight value, build trust, and inspire engagement among current and prospective members. |
3. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB |
a) Achieve monthly sales targets through member recruitment and portfolio growth. b) Present, promote, and sell products and services. c) Grow the deposit portfolio by mobilizing deposits across current accounts, non-withdrawable deposits, fixed deposits, and call deposits. d) Grow the loan book portfolio by actively marketing and selling loan products to members.e) Maintain high standards of customer service to meet client expectations. f) Develop sales proposals, presentations, and reports in a timely manner. g) Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments. h) Gather member feedback from networking forums to generate leads and enhance offerings. i) Participate actively in marketing activities and promotional events. j) Analyse market potential, monitor performance, and track sales reports. k) Any other lawful duties that may be assigned from time to time. |
4. KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE |
Minimum level of academic qualification, skills and knowledge required to perform effectively in the role: |
Holders of a Diploma in Business related field or its equivalent from a recognized university. Relevant degree and membership with relevant professional body is an added advantage |
Minimum months or years of experience required to have to be appointed to the position: |
Minimum 1-year relevant experience and in a similar position.
