Long-term financing for salaried members.

The Salary Check-Off Loan is a long-term loan for members whose salaries are paid through their Sacco current account.

Eligibility and requirements

  • Salary history: your salary must have been paid through the Sacco for at least 6 months.
  • Repayment capacity: your ability to pay is limited to two thirds of your net salary (the lowest of your last six months).
  • Deposit contribution: you must have saved at least 10% of the loan amount as deposit contributions.
  • Processing fee: 1% of the loan amount, deducted upfront.
  • Loan entitlement: up to 10 times your deposits plus share capital.
  • Loan insurance: 0.5%.
